On October 25th during WETEX in Dubai, innogy International Middle East and the Dubai Carbon Center of Excellence signed an Pilot project to bring innogy’s innovative sensor-based data intelligence solution “bit.B” (https://www.bitb.innogy.com) to the prestigious solar rooftop project in Hatta.
“Integrating bit.B into the Hatta Rooftop Solar Initiative will enable our projects to be capable of leveraging a strong dataset to demonstrate the value of technological maturity. This allows us to leverage a new technology which allows the internet of things to gather essential data. This will boost our initiatives aimed at conserving energy, fully optimizing production, and enhancing efficiency according to the government’s environmental goals. As always, our main goal through this ground-breaking effort is to fast-track our key environmental agendas and make informed decisions that help advance the UAE and Dubai’s sustainability vision.” says Ivano Iannelli, CEO of DCCE
Also commenting on the latest strategic cooperation, Pierre Samaties, CEO of innogy International Middle East, said: “Our vision is to become a leader of the Smart Living transformation. Through our strategic partnership with Dubai Carbon we will showcase how bit.B. can add valuable smart features to the prestigious Hatta project. bit.B. is an innovative sensor-based data intelligence solution that will pave the way for transparency and a variety of evaluations and analyses by combining all data collected from sensors and meters. Such a system will allow for a detailed overview and new approaches to save energy and achieve production optimizations.”
“We are very proud to showcase bit.B for the first time in the Middle East. The Hatta project provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate the value bit.B can add” adds Michael Krystof, Head of bit.B.
